Since finishing an M.A in Fashion at St Martins in 1992 I have been working as a designer and maker.
A continued interest in cushions since a teenage job making them for Chilston Park Hotel has evolved into Cushlab, I produce a seasonal range of of original handmade cushions, made to order in a range of natural fibres such as wool, felt, cotton, linen and silk.
Cushlab is based in Tenterden in Kent.
Myself and my partner Ben have three children of varying ages and sizes, all of whom take an active interest in Cushlab....mainly for the cushions they can sneak onto their beds!
I have a great time designing, making and thinking about cushions, and can't understand when people aren't as obsessed by them as I am!
Cushlab is happy to work by commision and in the past have produced cushions for art installations (Frieze Art Fair), caravan interiors as well as for private clients.
